PROMA REHA equipped new rehabilitation centre of Máj in Poděbrady
It was a typical spa boarding house until the end of last year. It has been changed to rehabilitation centre beyond recognition this year.
Newness is felt in whole three floors. Complex spa care has been provided to patients after orthopedic operations.
“It is start of the rehabilitation centre at moment. There are totally 60 beds and the staff contains from one doctor, five physiotherapists and five nurses”, says Director of Poděbrady Spa, Josef Rambous.
An important Czech hard surgeon and a member of Scientific council of Poděbrady Spa, Jan Pirk, as well as a rower-sculler, the Olympic winner of scull at Summer Olympic Games 2012 held in London, Mirka Knapková, were attended the opening ceremony.
The centre is barrier-free and was built specific for rehabilitation. There are single and double rooms on all floors, some of them are joined with social by sanitary facilities. The centre has rehabilitation rooms and gyms at their disposal.
PROMA REHA delivered to this centre a group of modern equipment, above all hospital beds, bedside cabinets and couches.
